St. Albans Fashion Week - The Promo Shoot

Thursday, November 13th, 2014

St. Albans Fashion Week returned to our historical city for it’s second year this October, this time devoting an entire evening to the world of weddings. The SAFW Luxury Wedding Event, which took place on 29th October at Hatfield House, consisted of a beautiful catwalk show followed by a champagne reception where guests could see the components of their dream wedding come together in situ.

Not only were some of our most exquisite dresses featured on the runway, but four of our beautiful gowns appeared in the event’s promo campaign.

Stylist: SAFW director, Ellena Ophira
Photography: Jeanette Lendon Photography
Beauty: St. Albans Hair + Make Up
Location: St. Michael’s Manor and Ayot St. Lawrence
Models: Nina Hearne, Sophie Bury, Susie Webb

Kicking off bright and early, the team headed to St. Michael’s Manor armed with a Starbucks. Beauty expert Karen Snook worked her magic to create three gorgeous wedding make-up looks for our models.

1. Something soft, sweet and doe-eyed…

2. Something ultra-romantic and feminine….

3. Something deeply glamorous that proves you can go bold on your wedding day…

The first location of the day was St. Michael’s Manor. This stunning hotel in the heart of St. Albans boasts the perfect mix of luxury and charm, making it a superb venue for weddings.

The second location was the Ayot St. Lawrence Church, a beautiful, neoclassical building with Doric columns, reminiscent of ancient Greek architecture.
