In the build up to each wedding, not only do we love getting to know our brides, but we also grow rather fond of the fabulous mums we have the pleasure of meeting too.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, we asked some of our brides to share their favourite mother & daughter wedding photo, telling us why their mum is so special…and what lovely dedications we received!…

Hannah Robertson

“It was always a close tie as to who was more excited about the wedding – me or Mum! From day 1 she was adamant that she wanted to buy my dress for me. After visiting you all at The Bride, we went to two other shops, we finished at 4:55pm and as I walked out of the last shop she announced “Quick we can make it back!”. She knew I’d found “the dress” even though I hadn’t wanted to say. It made it even more special on the day when she buttoned me up. Here she is helping me get into my shoes! Nearly 18 months later she will always be just as happy as me to go through all the photos and chat about the day! I am a very lucky daughter! P.S. She very nearly stole my thunder she looked so gorgeous herself!!”

“Me and my beautiful mum, Lynne. My best friend, life coach, agony aunt, shopping partner, cocktail partner, dinner partner, and my absolute favourite person to gossip with. There is no one else in my life who I can chat to on the phone for 2 hrs and still have things to talk about later that day!”

“My mum is an amazing friend as well as my mum. She made my wedding day so special by helping me choose my dress and make my wedding cake. She also calmed me down when I found out I was pregnant and panicked my dream dress would no longer fit! She goes above and beyond to make me happy and I love her so much. No idea what I’d do without her especially as I now almost due with baby number two. I only hope I am half the mum she is! As I have a lot to live up to.”

“Here is my mum walking me down the aisle. June Navin is the strongest lady I know and my life achievements so far are down to her. Love you mum xxx”
